Currently celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Richard Healey Removals Ltd excels by listening carefully to its customer requirements and offering a face to face personal service that is backed by constant deployment of correct industry standards, alongside fully trained staff who are supplied with the latest vehicles and removal equipment.


Nowadays the second generation of the Healey family, in the shape of Richard Junior and his sister Georgina Berry, manage the business together with Operations Manager, Barry Howitt. Richard Healey Removals Ltd employs 32 staff many of who are young people recruited through career partnerships with local schools and colleges.


“The firm’s type and size of client varies from families who have used our domestic removal services for generations, to local authorities or blue chip businesses looking for a high-quality move management programme with large commercial relocations,” explains Georgina.


Investment in vehicles, staff training, technology and branding remains a top priority throughout every financial year at Richard Healey Removals. To celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary Richard Healey Removals currently has in build a DAF XF Super space cab road train, which will be the first vehicle to be used solely in international relocations since the company obtained an International Operator’s Licence. The company’s new headquarters in Beith offers 100,000 square feet of storage, which will enable the company to plan for future expansion. Business standards are the key to compliance and service excellence. Richard Healey Removals Ltd currently have seven quality standards BS EN 12522, BS 8522, BS EN 14873, BS EN 15713,

ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and BS OHSAS 18001.
